The thread used is Superior Threads Masterpiece Cotton Thread.

I designed this quilt based on a photo of an antique quilt owned by Marian Parsons. This quilt was designed in honor of her new book “Feels Like Home” because quilts make a house feel like a home for me.

My Grandmother was an avid quilter. She has hand-quilted over 165 quilts in her life. And her mother before her was a quilter, and my Grandmother’s sisters were quilters. When I make a quilt, I feel as though I am connecting with my heritage and passing that art on to you. On nearly every quilt I make, I add the hand-stitched embroidery to make the quilt completely unique because even I can’t make the stitches exactly the same on every quilt.
